The application of artificial intelligence technology in nursing education:a systematic review

摘要:

目的 系统评价人工智能(Artificial Intelligence,AI)技术在护理教育中的应用效果,为AI与护理教育融合提供循证依据。方法 计算机检索中国知网、万方、维普、中国生物医学文献数据库、PubMed、Web of Science、Cochrane Library、Embase、CINAHL数据库,检索从建库至2025年4月发表的关于AI技术在护理教育中应用的随机对照试验和类实验研究,经过文献筛选、质量评价、资料提取后,采用RevMan 5.4进行Meta分析。结果 共纳入15篇文献,总样本量1 892名。Meta分析显示,AI辅助教学可提高学生知识水平[SMD=0.92,95%CI(0.49,1.35),P<0.001]、实践能力[SMD=0.93,95%CI(0.27,1.59),P=0.006]及满意度[SMD=0.98,95%CI(0.44,1.51),P<0.001],对临床思维提升有积极作用[SMD=0.69,95%CI(0.15,1.23),P=0.010],但在沟通能力培养方面与传统教学无显著差异[SMD=-0.13,95%CI(-0.30,0.03),P=0.120]。结论 AI辅助教学有助于提升护理学生知识水平、实践能力和满意度,但其对临床思维与沟通能力的影响需更多高质量研究验证。

Abstract:

Objective To systematically evaluate the application effect of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in nursing education,and to provide evidence-based reference for the integration of AI and nursing education. Methods Literature searching was conducted in nine Chinese and English databases,including CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,SinoMed,PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Embase,and CINAHL. Randomized controlled trials and Quasi-experimental studies on the application of AI technology in nursing education from the establishment of the database to April 2025 were retrieved. After literature screening,quality evaluation,data extraction,and Meta-analysis were performed using software of RevMan 5.4. Results A total of 15 studies were included,with a total sample size of 1 892. Meta-analysis showed that AI-assisted teaching significantly improved nursing students’ knowledge level [SMD=0.92, 95%CI(0.49, 1.35), P<0.001], practical ability[SMD=0.93, 95%CI(0.27, 1.59), P=0.006], and satisfaction [SMD=0.98, 95%CI(0.44, 1.51), P<0.001]. It also had a positive effect on improving clinical thinking[SMD=0.69, 95%CI(0.15, 1.23), P=0.010], though there was no significant difference in communication ability compared with traditional teaching[SMD=-0.13, 95%CI(-0.30, 0.03), P=0.120]. Conclusion AI technology has significant effects on improving knowledge, practical ability, and satisfaction in nursing education, while its impact on clinical thinking and communication skills needs to be verified by more high-quality studies.
