Abstract:

Objective To construct a progressive training program for cardiovascular specialty nurses and evaluate its usability,so as to provide references for the cultvation of cardiovascular specialty nurses. Methods Based on the learning progression theory,a preliminary version of the program was formulated through literature review and semi-structured interviews. From February 2025 to March 2025,the Delphi method was adopted to conduct two rounds of correspondence consultation with 20 experts on the preliminary draft to finalize the program. In October 2025,87 cardiovascular specialty nurses trained by the Fujian Nursing Association via conventional specialty nurse training were selected by convenience sampling as participants to evaluate the usability of the program. Results The valid questionnaire recovery rates of the two rounds of consultation were 95%(20/21) and 100%(20/20) respectively; the expert authority coefficients were 0.930 and 0.950 respectively; Kendall’s coordination coefficients for item importance scores were 0.162 and 0.194 respectively(all P<0.001). The final program divided training into primary and advanced stages, each phase covered six components, namely training objectives, admission criteria, core knowledge points, training methods, training duration, and assessment formats. The usability score of the program rated by cardiovascular specialty nurses was(19.09±1.74). Conclusion The program constructed based on learning progression theory demonstrates scientific validity and high acceptance among the target population, which can offer references and evidence for exploring training modes of cardiovascular specialty nurses.
