    Objective To conduct a curriculum reform of the Comprehensive Practical Training of Scene Simulation on Geriatric Nursing based on health and social care project in the World Skills Competition. Methods Students in a class of grade 2019 in a higher vocational nursing college(geriatric nursing) were recruited as the control group(n=45),and students in a class of grade 2020 were assigned to the experimental group(n=40). Based on the health and social care project of the World Skills Competition,the teaching contents were reformed. Students in the experimental group was taught through online and offline method while students in the control group was taught by traditional teaching methods. At the end of the course,comprehensive scene simulation assessment was conducted. Semi structured interviews were adopted to explore the learning experience of students. Results The experimental group's comprehensive scene simulation assessment results were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Four themes emerged from the interviews,including the breadth and integration of teaching contents,enhancement of learning interest,improvement of comprehensive abilities,and difficulties and challenges. Conclusion The comprehensive practical training of scene simulation on geriatric nursing based on health and social care project in the World Skills Competition enriched the connotation. The blended teaching method adopted can stimulate students' learning interest,improve comprehensive abilities such as communication and problem-solving. Students can have good experience during the course learning.

    Objective To establish an evaluation index system of the entrustable professional activities in geriatric nursing interns. Methods An expert consultation questionnaire was designed through literature analysis and group discussion,and two rounds of expert consultation were conducted among 13 geriatric care experts using Delphi technique from August to September 2021. Results The recovery rate of the questionnaires was 100%. In the second round of consultation,the authority coefficient of experts was 0.97,the Kendall harmony coefficient of index importance and observability was 0.168 and 0.182(P<0.001),and the Kendall harmony coefficient of expected confidence level was 0.150(P<0.001). The index system of the entrustable professional activities in geriatric nursing for the geriatric nursing interns consisted of 5 primary indicators,which were health assessment,caring of older patient,processing medical prescriptions,basic nursing skills and health education. Fourteen secondary indicators and 51 tertiary indicators were included in the index system. The expected entrustable level range of secondary indicators was from 1 to 4. Conclusion The established evaluation index system of the entrustable professional activities in geriatric nursing interns is reliable,scientific and comprehensive. It can provide objective quantitative basis for clinical teaching and assessment in undergraduate geriatric nursing.

    Objective This study aimed to investigate the current situation and demands of inservice training of geriatric nurses in China. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 5,142 geriatric nurses recruited from 31 provinces(autonomous regions or municipalities). The questionnaire,including sociodemographic information,inservice training situation,and demands for inservice training,was used to collect data. Results A total of 4,388 (85.3%) geriatric nurses had participated in inservice training. Most of the inservice training was provided by departments or hospitals(73.9%). The inservice training was delivered by multiple methods,of which the traditional theoretical education was the most common(88.7%). Inservice training needs of geriatric nurses with different titles,educational backgrounds,and hospital level were diverse. Conclusion The participation rate of geriatric nurses in China is relatively high,but the training level and specialized level should be further improved. It is necessary for nursing managers to carry out diversified and systematic inservice training combined with the position responsibilities,demands of the specialty development and personalized needs of geriatric nurses at different levels.

    By referring to the policies and data released by the Ministry of Health,Labor and Welfare in Japan over the years,we explored the legal basis,talent policies and career pathway in promoting the talents training in geriatric care. At the same time,we systematically analyzed the system and thoughts embedded in their training,and clarified the three basic prerequisites to establish a diversified and multi-level training of talents in geriatric care in China.

    Objective To explore the adaptation process and experience of nursing students to the education model of cooperative training union between hospital and university. Methods The phenomenological research method was applied. From May to September 2021,fifteen undergraduate nursing students were interviewed in depth through purposive sampling. These students accepted the education model of cooperative training union between hospital and university from 4 medical universities. The data were analyzed by categorization and situational analysis. Results A total of 23 interviews were conducted,with a total duration of 487 minutes and a transcription of about 71,000 words. Students experienced three main stages in adapting to the new education model:the mixed happiness and sorrow stage,the maladjustment stage,and the acceptance and perceived benefit stage. Nursing students used cognitive subsystem and stabilizer subsystem coping mechanism to adapt to the "stimulus" through self-adjustment and external support,and finally adapt to the new education model. Conclusion Nursing students need a process to adapt to new education model. Positive self-adjustment and effective external support could promote students to adapt better and faster. Universities and hospitals should make full preparations to ensure students' living and meet their learning needs.

    Design and application of a handbook tool for nursing interns

    Objective To explore the effects of a handbook tool on the time management ability of nursing interns. Methods Nursing interns were recruited by the cluster sampling method. Fifty students of grade 2020 were assigned to the control group and traditional teaching method was used in this group. Another 50 students were assigned to the experimental group. On the basis of traditional teaching,the handbook tool was used. The Adolescent Time Management Disposition Scale was used before the intervention and 3 months after the intervention. Results After the intervention,the total score of time management tendency,time monitoring view and time efficacy dimension of students in the experimental group were higher than those before the intervention(P<0.05),while the score of time value dimension had no change(P>0.05). After the intervention,the scores of the total scale and each dimension in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The handbook tool can effectively improve the time management ability of nursing interns.

    The mediating effect of psychological capital on the relationship between job stress and organizational citizenship behavior among oncology nurses

    Objective To explore the mediating effect of psychological capital on the relationship between job stress and organizational citizenship behavior among oncology nurses. Methods In October 2020,a total of 112 oncology nurses from a tertiary hospital in Shanghai were selected by convenience sampling,and were investigated by the general information questionnaire,the Chinese Nurses Stressor Scale,the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale,and the Psychological Capital Questionnaire. Results The total average score of organizational citizenship behavior in oncology nurses was 4.15±0.42,the total score of job stress was 2.94±0.74,and the total score of psychological capital was 4.07±0.94. Path analysis showed that oncology nurses' work stress had a negative effect on organizational citizenship behavior(β=-0.331,P<0.001),and psychological capital had a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior(β=0.263,P<0.001). Nurses' work stress had an indirect effect on organizational citizenship behavior through psychological capital(indirect effect value of -0.106),accounting for 24.26% of the total effect. Conclusion The organizational citizenship behavior of oncology nurses needs to be improved. Nurse managers should develop corresponding measures to reduce the job stress of oncology nurses,improve nurses' self-efficacy,optimism and resilience for coping with adversity,and encourage nurses to participate more in department construction and management to ensure the stable and efficient development of the oncology nursing team.

    Objective To explore the effects of the follow-up process based on a case management model in cerebrovascular patients with stents. Methods Patients who were admitted in the neurology department of a hospital for stents treatment from June to December 2020 were recruited in the study. According to the location of the department(Neurology Area A and Area B),patients were assigned to the interventional group(120 cases) and the control group(121 cases). Patients in the interventional group received follow-up based on a case management model while patients in the control group received routine follow-up. The outpatient clinic revisit rate,waiting time in outpatient clinic,and patients' satisfaction were compared between the two groups in 6 months after discharge. Results The outpatient clinic revisit rate of patients in the interventional group was significantly higher than that of patients in the control group(94.58% vs 72.64%, χ2=64.941,P<0.001). The medica-tion adherence of patients in the interventional group[7.25(7.00,7.86)] was higher than that in the control group[7.25(5.25,7.56)](U=5 468,P<0.001). The waiting time in the outpatient clinic in the trial group was significantly lower than that in the control group[115(105.25,123.00) min vs 166(154.5,178.00)min](U=14 510,P<0.001). Patients' satisfaction level in the interventional group was higher than that in the control group[9.25(9.00,10.00) vs [9.00(8.75,9.25)](U=4402,P<0.001). Conclusion The follow-up process based on a case mana-gement model can improve the revisit rate in the outpatient clinic,medication adherence,reduced outpatient waiting time,and satisfaction level of patients.

    A systematic review of the effects of eHealth interventions on compliance with immunosuppressant medication in renal transplant recipients

    Objective To investigate the effects of eHealth interventions on improving adherence to immunosup-pressive medications in renal transplant recipients. Methods A systematic search was conducted in PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,CINAHL,Web of Science,CNKI,Wanfang,and VIP databases for randomized controlled trials of eHealth interventions on immunosuppressant medication adherence in renal transplant recipients from the establishment of the database to December 16,2021. Two researchers independently searched and screened the articles and extracted data. Study quality was assessed by the Cochrane quality evaluation manual. Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan5.3 software. Results There were 8 studies involving 791 kidney transplantation recipients. The eHealth interventions improved medication adherence monitored by electronic devices compared to controls[RR=1.46,95%CI(1.11,1.90)]. However,medication adherence as assessed by the Basel Assessment of Adherence to Immunosuppressive Medication Scale [RR=1.05,95%CI(0.92,1.20)],Tacrolimus blood levels [SMD=0.16,95%CI(-0.21,0.52)],Tacrolimus coefficient of variation [SMD=-0.01,95%CI(-0.05,0.02)] was not improved significantly(P>0.05). Conclusion There are no consistent findings regarding whether eHealth interventions can improve immunosuppressive medication adherence in renal transplant recipients across different studies due to various assessment tools. The effects of eHealth interventions on maintaining immunosuppressive blood levels in renal transplant recipients needs to be further confirmed.

    Objective To systematically synthesize the qualitative evidence of symptom management experience in women with urinary incontinence. Methods The Cochrane Library,PubMed,Web of Science,PsycINFO,CINAHL,Embase,CNKI,WanFang,CBM,and VIP databases were systematically searched for qualitative studies on the experience of symptom management in women with urinary incontinence from inception to May 2021. The articles was evaluated using the JBI quality evaluation criteria for evidence-based health care central quality studies,and the meta-analysis method was used to integrate the study results. Results A total of 10 studies were included,the quality of all were rated as grade B. Forty-six results were extracted,and similar results were summarized and combined into 11 new categories and further integrated into three results:poor symptom experience in patients with urinary incontinence,diversification of symptom management strategies in patients with urinary incontinence,and transformation of symptom management outcomes in patients with urinary incontinence. Conclusion Women with urinary incontinence have poor symptom experience and lack the professional guidance on symptom management strategies. Their symptom management outcomes need to be improved. It is important to provide professional information support and good social family support to enhance the patient's self-management ability.

    Objective To understand the transfer team's perspectives on emergency and its influencing factors during inter-hospital transfer of high-risk newborns. Methods The semi-structured interviews with 22 team members from 3 provincial neonatal treatment centers were conducted. NVivo 11.0 software was used to analyze the data. Results Two themes and 11 corresponding sub-themes were developed:emergencies during inter-hospital transfer (mechanical failure,inadequate items preparation,inconsistency between the prognosis and the actual condition of the newborns,serious condition changes,and traffic accidents);risk factors of inter-hospital transfer (external factors,comprehensive quality,patient factors,instruments and equipment,manpower deployment,and occupational protection). Conclusion There are many emergencies and complex types of risks in inter-hospital transfer of high-risk neonates,and several factors need to be considered to establish a sound risk prevention strategy to ensure the safety of transfer.

    Influencing factors of the continuing care needs of patients with chronic heart failure

    Objective To investigate the current situation of the continuing nursing needs of patients with chronic heart failure and to analyze the main factors affecting their needs. Methods Taking Andersen's behavior model as the theoretical framework,a total of 309 patients with chronic heart failure were applied with the general information questionnaire,the Chronic Heart Failure Patient's Continuing Care Needs Questionnaire,the Social Support Rating Scale,the Self-Rating Depression Scale and the General Self-Efficacy Scale. Results The highest ranking of the continuing nursing needs in patients with chronic heart failure was telephone follow-up(60.2%). The total average score of content needs was(3.79±0.75),and the score of cardiac rehabilitation dimension was the highest. Self-efficacy,social support,left ventricular ejection fraction and self-rated health status were the influencing factors of the continuing nursing needs in patients with chronic heart failure,which explained 59.7% of the total variation. Social support is a major factor influencing out-of-hospital needs of patients with chronic heart failure. Conclusion The continuing nursing needs of patients with chronic heart failure is high,and it is affected by many factors,among which social support is the main influencing factor. Medical staff should implement targeted interventions for patients with different needs level to promote the effective use of medical resources.

    Objective To translate the Birth Beliefs Scale(BBS) into Chinese,and to assess the reliability and validity of Birth Beliefs Scale-Chinese(BBS-C). Methods The Principle of Good Practice for Translation and Cultural Adaptation Process was followed to translate and back-translate the BBS. The cross-cultural revision of the translated BBS was carried out through expert consulting and pilot survey. An expert panel(n=7) was invited to conduct 3 rounds evaluation of BBS-C. A total of 593 pregnant women in late pregnancy were surveyed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the BBS-C. Results The item-level CVI of BBS-C was 0.86~1 and the scale-level CVI was 0.91. The Cronbach's α coefficient for the total scale was 0.76. The test-retest reliability coefficient of the subscales were 0.83 and 0.84. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that χ2/df=4.871,RMSEA=0.081,GFI=0.955,AGFI =0.909,IFI=0.914,TLI=0.855. Conclusion BBS-C has been proved to be valid and reliable,which can be used to evaluate the birth beliefs of Chinese pregnant women in late pregnancy.

    Objective To explore the status,contents and methods of curriculum ideological and political education practice in undergraduate nursing education in China. Methods Six Chinese databases including CNKI,SinoMed,Wanfang,VIP,NCPSSD,CASHL were searched from January 1,2014 to July 1,2021 regarding the curriculum ideological and political education practice in nursing undergraduates. All the papers were selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Relevant data was extracted by reading the full text. Results A total of 19 articles on teaching practice of curriculum ideological and political education were included,all of which were published from 2019 to 2021,and there were 11 nursing professional courses involved. The research involved many curriculum ideological and political education elements,among which“humanistic care” and “professional ethics” were the most common. The teaching practice programs were diversified,and most of them were scenario simulation and case teaching. The research methods of curriculum ideological and political teaching practice criteria for effect evaluation were diversified. Conclusion The research on curriculum ideological and political education practice in nursing undergraduates has been carried out comprehensively,but the research contents and design need to be further improved.

    Objective To clarify the concept of elder self-neglect by Rodgers' evolutionary concept analysis. Methods Seven databases of CNKI,Wanfang,VIP database,SinoMed,PubMed,The Cochrane Library and Embase were searched systematically. Articles were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. By using Rodgers' evolutionary concept analysis,we analyzed the concept of elder self-neglect from the following aspects:concept evolution,its attributes,antecedents,consequences,surrogate and related terms,and a typical case. Results A total of 31 articles were included with 8 in Chinese and 23 in English. The elder self-neglect is predisposed,multidimensional,and invisible. The antecedents of elder self-neglect are social-demographic characteristics,physical health,psychological health,and social support system. The consequences of elder self-neglect are related to the changes of living status,social interaction,and increase the readmission rate and risk of death. Conclusion In this study,Rodgers evolutionary concept analysis is used to clarify the concept of self-neglect in older adults,which will provide reference for future studies related to elder self-neglect and contribute to the development of elder self-neglect assessment tools and theoretical models.

    Float nurses are early adopted in the United States. The practice of float nurse has shown that float nurses setting is a solution to the shortage of hospital nurses. This paper introduced the admission management,personnel management,training management,nursing quality control and salary management of the float nurses in American hospitals. Suggestions were proposed to provide reference for the implementation of multi-site nurse practitioners in China.
