Abstract:

Objective To establish an evaluation index system of the entrustable professional activities in geriatric nursing interns. Methods An expert consultation questionnaire was designed through literature analysis and group discussion,and two rounds of expert consultation were conducted among 13 geriatric care experts using Delphi technique from August to September 2021. Results The recovery rate of the questionnaires was 100%. In the second round of consultation,the authority coefficient of experts was 0.97,the Kendall harmony coefficient of index importance and observability was 0.168 and 0.182（P<0.001）,and the Kendall harmony coefficient of expected confidence level was 0.150（P<0.001）. The index system of the entrustable professional activities in geriatric nursing for the geriatric nursing interns consisted of 5 primary indicators,which were health assessment,caring of older patient,processing medical prescriptions,basic nursing skills and health education. Fourteen secondary indicators and 51 tertiary indicators were included in the index system. The expected entrustable level range of secondary indicators was from 1 to 4. Conclusion The established evaluation index system of the entrustable professional activities in geriatric nursing interns is reliable,scientific and comprehensive. It can provide objective quantitative basis for clinical teaching and assessment in undergraduate geriatric nursing.
