Objective To explore the status and influencing factors of self-consciousness of nursing under-graduates. Methods A total of 1 411 nursing students were investigated with the Self-consciousness Scale and the Feed-back-Seeking Behavior Scale. The SPSS 26.0 was used for data analysis. The independent t-test or ANOVA was used to compare the scores of self-consciousness among different characteristics. Pearson correlation analysis was used for the correlation among variables. Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the factors influencing self-consciousness of nursing undergraduates. Results The score of self-consciousness of nursing undergraduates was (45.49±8.41),and there was a positive correlation between self-consciousness and feedback-seeking behavior(r=0.521,P<0.001). The influencing factors of self-consciousness were the experience of student leader, choosing nursing reason, career choice support from family,feedback-seeking behavior by teacher’s observation,feedback-seeking behavior by classmate’s observation and feedback-seeking behavior by classmate’s inquiry(P<0.001),which could explain 30.2% of the variance of self-consciousness. Conclusion The self-consciousness of nursing under-graduates is below the middle level. The self-consciousness of nursing undergraduates is affected by the experience of student leaders, whether they choose their major voluntarily, career choice support from family, and different type of feed-back-seeking behavior. Therefore, nursing educators should develop the nursing education measures according to these factors to improve the self-consciousness of nursing undergraduates.

Objective To investigate the current status of occupational fatigue among nurses with master degree in China and to explore its influencing factors. Methods From November to December 2020,a total of 191 nurses with master degree from 15 provinces and municipalities in eastern, central and western China were selected by convenience sampling and snowball sampling. These nurses were investigated by the general information questionnaire, the Occupational Fatigue Exhaustion/Recovery Scale, the Effort-Reward Imbalance Scale and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Results The scores of occupational fatigue among nurses with master degree were as follows:chronic fatigue(46.46±21.49),acute fatigue(57.57±19.70) and inter-shift recovery(52.98±18.20). The multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that the influencing factors of chronic fatigue of postgraduate nurses included effort, reward, overcommitment, sleep quality, marital status, and the number of weekends off every 28 days, which could explain 50.5% of the total variation. Influencing factors of acute fatigue included overcommitment, dedication, sleep quality and monthly rest time between shifts <11 h,which could explain 53.6% of the total variation. The influencing factors of inter-shift recovery included effort, reward, sleep quality, number of night shifts per month and overcommitment, which could explain 39.8% of the total variation. Conclusion Nurses with master degree were at a moderately high level of acute fatigue and inter-shift recovery, and a moderately low level of chronic fatigue. It is recommended that hospital managers formulate scientific and reasonable work schedules, pay attention to nurses’ rest time, and strengthen the return to nurses with a master’s degree. At the same time, the nurses should adjust their overcommitted work motivation model.
