    Development of health science popularization works for rehabilitation of limb function in stroke patients

    Objective To develop evidence-based health science popularization works for limb function rehabilitation of patients with stroke. Methods In this study,guided by the Guideline International Network(GIN) Patient guideline formulation manual and Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool(PEMAT),we conducted semi-structured interviews to clarify the health science themes. These themes were matched with relevant evidence-based evidence,and the relevant evidence recommendation items for each theme were refined. It is translated into language and other forms that patients can understand easily. Five representatives(doctor,nurse,patient,evidence-based methodology expert and science popularization editor) conducted an external review of the quality of these science popularization works. Results The science popularization works of limb function rehabilitation and health of stroke patients included 4 themes of functional limb position,posture transfer,standing training and acupoint massage,and 17 detailed items. The final external review rate was 94.4%~100%,and the coefficient of variation was 0~0.106. Conclusion The method of developing science popularization works on rehabilitation of stroke limb function is scientific and has been recognized by medical staff and patients. It can provide a methodological reference for the development of other science popularization works.

    Construction of an evaluation index system for newly recruited nurses in the operating room

    Objective To construct an evaluation index system for evaluation of training effects of newly recruited nurses in the operating room. Methods With the Kirkpatrick model as the theoretical framework,indicators of training effect evaluation were drawn up based on literature review,semi-structured interviews and other methods. Twenty experts were invited for two rounds of consultations. Results The expert positive coefficients were all 100%,and the expert authority coefficients were all 0.85. The Kendall harmony coefficients of the first,second,and third-level indicators of the second round of expert consultations were 0.229,0.231,and 0.200 respectively(P<0.05). The final evaluation indicators for the training effects evaluation included 4 first-level indicators,15 second-level indicators,and 57 third-level indicators. The importance scores of all indicators were distributed from 4.25 to 5.00 points. The weight from high to low was 0.439 for behavior layer,0.311 for the learning layer,0.146 for the result layer,and 0.104 for the reaction layer. Conclusion The method of constructing the training effect evaluation system for newly recruited nurses in the operating room is rigorous and scientific,which can provide a basis for evaluation of the training effects in newly recruited nurses in the operating room.

    Analysis of status of longitudinal qualitative research in nursing in China

    Objective To analyze the major issues existing longitudinal qualitative research in nursing in China. Methods CNKI,Wanfang,SinoMed and VIP databases were searched for nursing papers on longitudinal qualitative research in China from the date of dataset establishment to October 16,2021. The included studies were summarized and analyzed. Results Twenty articles were included. In terms of methodology presentation,two articles failed to indicate which qualitative research method was used. In terms of sample size presentation,fourteen articles failed to indicate the attrition of sample. In terms of data collection time,fifteen articles failed to indicate the reasons for setting the data collection time. In terms of data analysis presentation,eighteen articles failed to describe the procedure of longitudinal data analysis,sixteen articles failed to indicate the time of data analysis,and seven articles failed to indicate the unit of data analysis. In terms of results presentation,one article failed to show change and six articles failed to indicate the data collection time in supportive quotes. Conclusion The longitudinal qualitative research is still in its initial stage in China and some misunderstandings are also existing. It is necessary to strengthen learning of relevant knowledge and correctly apply the method.

    Construction of a training program for emergency specialty nurses based on the core competence

    Objective To construct a training program which not only accords with the present situation in China but also reflects the core competence of emergency specialty nurses. Methods Based on the core competence of emergency specialty nurses,the training program were established by literature review and semi-structured interviews. Thirty experts were invited to participate in a two rounds consultation to establish the program. Results After two rounds of expert consultation,the positive coefficients of consultations were 91%(30/33) and 100%(30/30)respectively. The authority coefficient of experts was 0.94,and the Kendall coordination coefficients were 0.223 and 0.356(P<0.001) respectively. The final established emergency specialty nurse training program consisted of 4 parts. The training objective part included 3 first-level indicators and 25 second-level indicators. The training content part included 6 first-level indicators and 44 second-level indicators. The training management part included 5 first-level indicators and 10 second-level indicators. The evaluation part included 2 first-level indicators and 7 second-level indicators. Conclusion The training program for emergency specialty nurses based on the core competence is scientific and reliable,which can provide reference for improving the training of emergency specialty nurses in China.

    Objective To understand the attributes of training needs of nurses specialized in anesthesiology. Methods A training needs questionnaire was developed based on the KANO model,literature review and existing training courses. Besides,the questionnaire was finalized after expert consultation and pilot investigation. The survey was conducted among 271 nurses specialized in anesthesiology recruited from 14 hospitals by convenience sampling. Results Among 40 training contents in the questionnaire,9 of them were must-be needs,10 of them were one-dimensional needs,13 of them were attractive needs and 8 of them were indifferent needs. Conclusion Educators should develop or optimize anesthesia nursing training programs according to the different attributes of nurses’ training needs to meet the needs of learners and improve the training effects.

    Objective To explore the specialized training needs of nurses in the interventional operating rooms in tertiary hospitals of Henan Province. Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the needs of specialized training in 316 nurses from 79 hospitals in Henan Province. Results 95.25%(301/316) nurses were willing to participate in the specialized training. However,there were different needs on the admission conditions,training methods,training time,teaching methods and assessment methods of specialized training. The total score of specialized training needs was(85.09±8.13). The dimensions which needed the highest were interventional specia-lized nursing knowledge,operative technique and nursing management. Conclusion Nurses in the interventional operating rooms have high demands for intervention specialized training. It is suggested to strengthen the specialized training of nurses in the interventional operating rooms and develop the training contents scientifically and reaso-nably to promote the quality of specialized nursing.

    adiotherapy is one of the most important treatments for cancer. The short-term and long-term toxicity of radiotherapy has always been an important factor affecting the prognosis and quality of life of patients. With the continuous advancement of radiotherapy equipment and technology,and the concept of cancer treatment,the wide application of oncology radiotherapy has put forward higher requirements for the nursing talents of oncology radiotherapy patients. This article introduced the history,admission standards and qualification certification,core competence requirements and job responsibilities of foreign advanced practice nurses in oncology radiotherapy. The article aimed to provide references for the training of advanced practice nurses in tumor radiotherapy in China.

    A survey of online deep learning of nursing master students

    Objective To investigate the current status and influencing factors of online deep learning of nursing master students. Methods A convenience sampling was used to recruit 287 nursing master students from five colleges and universities in Northeast China. A package of questionnaires was used including the General information questionnaire,the Scale of Students Making Deep Learning,the Network Learning Space Scale,the Online Learning Engagement Scale and the Online Academic Emotion Scale. Results The score of online deep learning of the nursing master students was(3.47±0.49). Per capita monthly income of the family,competition awards,network learning space,online learning engagement,and negative low arousal emotion could account for 66.0% of the total variance. Conclusion The online deep learning of nursing master students is at the upper middle level. Per capita monthly income of the family,competition awards,network learning space,online learning engagement,and negative low arousal emotion are the main influences factors for nursing master students.

    Objective To explore the effects of the flipping classroom in teaching of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Prescription Nursing. Methods Online teaching based on flipped classroom was carried out in the whole course of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Prescription Nursing. A total of 267 students selected the course. According to the contents,the teaching team designed the teaching video script,recorded 67 micro course videos,designed 10 typical cases and 30 research questions to build the online test questions. Before class,the videos,cases,and PowerPoints were put on the platform. Assignments were made and self-learning was directed. During the flipped classroom teaching,students’ learning results were evaluated through the rain classroom software. The difficult and important points were reviewed and explained. Group discussions were organized and case analysis was carried out. A questionnaire was used to investigate students’ evaluation on the flipped classroom teaching. Results Students’ participation in learning and enthusiasm for classroom discussion were very high. The attendance rate of online flipped classroom was 100%,and the overall score of the course was(83.35±5.25).The students were generally satisfied with the course organization and the teaching methods. 96.30% of the students gave 4 stars or more on this course. The average score of evaluation on teaching level was 4.63. Conclusion Online flipped classroom can break the time and space constraints of learning,and meet the needs of online teaching reform under emergencies such as epidemic situation.

    Objective To investigate orthopedic nurses’ knowledge,attitude,practice(KAP) and their learning needs on postoperative delirium(POD) management. Methods A self-designed online questionnaire was used to measure nurses’ KAP on POD management in orthopedics departments of 11 tertiary hospitals in Sichuan Province. Results A total of 444 questionnaires were finally collected. The total score rate of the orthopedic nurses’ KAP of POD management was 72.67%,among which the score rates of knowledge,attitude and practice were 57.68%,80.85% and 82.48%,respectively. Univariate factor analysis showed that the POD management knowledge scores of orthopedic nurses with different professional titles were significantly different(P<0.05). And there were statistically significant differences in POD management knowledge,attitude,and practice scores in nurses with different hospital levels,different hospital properties,having working experience or not in the intensive care unit,caring for delirium patients or not,participating in delirium related training or not(P<0.05). Only 19.59% of orthopedic nurses had participated in the delirium-related training. The most urgent related learning needs were the diagnosis and identification,definition and classification,and risk factors of postoperative delirium. Conclusion Orthopedic nurses are lack of knowledge about POD,but their attitude and practice towards POD management are positive. Nursing managers should strengthen training on postoperative delirium for orthopedic nurses to improve nurses’ cognition of POD management and promote better clinical practice.

    Objective To explore the effects of using a reflection prompting card in ICU new nurses training. Methods From September 2019 to January 2021,new nurses who received standardized training in ICU of a tertiary hospital in Shanghai were selected in the study. Reflection prompting cards were translated and revised,and the nurses were instructed to write work diary according to the reflection prompting card during the training process. Nurses reflected their practice on the clinical learning thinking,clinical environment and clinical behavior and recorded the new clinical knowledge every week. Results After the application of reflection prompting cards,the contents of work diaries were richer. Teachers evaluated the training effects and adjusted the teaching plans according to nurses’ diaries. The training experience of nurses were also improved. Conclusion By using reflection prompting cards,nurses can improve their independent learning and growth. The study can provide a basis for teachers to carry out individualized training.

    Objective To explore the effects of a cardiac rehabilitation training based on interactive theory of goal attainment in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Methods A total of 71 patients treated with percutaneous coronary intervention were selected and divided into the interventional group(36 cases) and the control group(35 cases) according their ward number. Patients in the control group received routine health educa-tion and cardiac rehabilitation exercise instruction. Patients in the interventional group received cardiac rehabi-litation training based on interactive theory of goal attainment. Patients’ cardiac rehabilitation knowledge,aerobic exercise endurance,self-management ability and quality of life before intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention,were evaluated between the two groups. Results Repeated measure variance analysis showed that before intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention,the self-management ability score,cardiac rehabilitation knowledge score,aerobic exercise endurance score and quality of life score had interaction effects between group and time(all P<0.05). Simple effect analysis showed that the all outcomes in the experimental group were better than those in the control group after 1 month and 3 months of intervention(all P<0.05). Conclusion Cardiac rehabilitation training based on the interactive theory of goal attainment can increase the knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation,improve the aerobic exercise endurance,improve the ability of self-management,improve the quality of life and promote the realization of rehabilitation goals of patients after PCI.

    Reliability and validity of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fatigue (IBD-F) Patient Self-assessment Scale

    Objective To translate the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fatigue(IBD-F) Patient Self-assessment Scale into Chinese,and to evaluate the reliability and validity of the scale of the Chinese version. Methods Permission to translate the instrument was obtained from the original developer. The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Fatigue(IBD-F) Patient Self-assessment Scale was translated and back-translated into the Chinese version. Through expert consultation and pre-test,the cross-cultural adaptation of the instrument was completed. Seven experts were invited to evaluate the validity of the instrument. The Chinese version of the instrument was distributed to 100 IBD outpatients. Results The Cronbach’s coefficient of Chinese version IBD-F Patient Self-assessment scale was 0.966. Test-retest reliability was 0.850. Content validity index of the instrument was 0.986. The correlation coefficient between Chinese version IBD-F Patient Self-assessment Scale score and Chinese version MFI-20 Scale score was 0.793(P<0.001). Exploratory factor analysis showed that the first and second part of the scale were single-dimensional structure, and the load values of each factor were 0.383~0.955. The final Chinese version scale was composed of 3 parts with 5 items in the first part,30 items in the second part,and 5 open questions in the third part. Conclusion The Chinese version of IBD-F Patient Self-assessment Scale has good reliability and validity which could be used as a screening tool for fatigue in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.

    Hospital-community-family linkage management model for patients after enterostomy

    Objective To explore the effects of the hospital-community-family linkage management model for patients with enterostomy. Methods A hospital-community-family linkage management model was established based on the medical treatment combination. The model included strengthening health education for inpatients and their family members,providing extended services by hospital-community joints,and establishing service networks by multiple ways. Forty-five patients before the model application(June-December 2018) were assigned to the control group. Another 45 patients who were managed by the linkage model(June-December 2019) were assigned in the experimental group. The postoperative family care capacity,the incidence of stoma complications and the cost of stoma care were compared between the two groups 3 months after the intervention. Results The score of family care ability in the experimental group was (85.29±2.77),and was (66.71±4.39) in the control group (t=23.999,P<0.001). The incidence of intestinal stoma complications in the experimental group was 13%(6/45) and 71%(32/45) in the control group ( χ 2=30.789,P<0.001). The cost of stoma care in the experimental group was (645±47) yuan,and(1 643±171) yuan in the control group(t’=37.756,P<0.001). Conclusion The hospital-community-family linkage management model can improve the family care ability of patients with intestinal stoma,reduce the incidence of complications,and save the cost of stoma care.

    A summary of the best evidence for perioperative nutritional support in patients after open abdominal hepatectomy

    Objective To summarize the best evidence of perioperative nutritional support in patients with hepatectomy. Methods We searched related evidence in Cochrane Library,National Guidelines Clearing House,Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network,PubMed,JBI,BMJ,Canadian Clinical Practice Guidelines Database,CNKI,Wanfang,International Guidelines Network,SinoMed,nutrition-related websites from their inception to September 9,2021. Article quality was evaluated by critical appraisal tools of JBI evidence-based healthcare center and evidence was summarized. Results This study finally included 8 articles,including 5 guidelines and 3 expert consensuses. We summarized 21 pieces of evidence in 5 dimensions,including screening for nutritional risk,measures for preoperative and postoperative nutrition,multidisciplinary nutrition patterns,and health education and follow-up. Conclusion The best evidence summarized in this study is specific and comprehensive. It can provide reference for health professionals in their clinical practice.

    The research retrieved the articles on training of nurses specialized in stomatology in recent 10 years. Twenty articles were recruited including 12 descriptive studies. The researchers in 8 articles were clinical experts. The research mainly involved the university education of nurses specialized in stomatology and the clinical continuous education. The researchers suggested that the training of nurses specialized in stomatology should start with college education and clinical continuing education. Strategies should be made in various aspects to cultivate nurses specialized in stomatology.

    This paper presented the development of prescription management and summarized the evidence and management practice of prescription right of nurse internationally. Besides,the paper introduced the characteristics of management and implementation of prescription right of nurses internationally. Suggestions about the development of nurses’ prescription right in China are proposed to promote the implementation of nurses’ prescription right.
