Objective To develop the specialized stroke care training program and to evaluate the programme effects in training junior nurses. Methods We established a research team and the quality indicators of specialized stroke care were confirmed through literature search, group discussion, expert interview, and Delphi method. According to the indicators and papers published, the specialized stroke care training program was developed. In June 2019,thirty-five junior nurses were trained through classroom teaching, skills demonstration, scenario simulation and ward rounds. After the training, the effects were evaluated through assessing the results of theoretical examination, skills, case analysis, and the sensitive indicators. Results After the training, the scores of theory examination, skill examination and case analysis were higher than those before the training(P<0.05). The specialized care quality were significantly improved after the training(P<0.05). Conclusion The specialized stroke care training based on quality indicators can achieve the expected effects and it provides reference for the training of junior nurses in specialized nursing ability.

Objective To investigate the current status of perception of patients' safety ability and its influencing factors among undergraduate nursing undergraduates. Methods A total of 732 undergraduates from seven regions of China were selected by convenience sampling and the Health Professional Education in Patient Safety Survey(H-PEPSS)was used for investigation. Results The total score of H-PEPSS of nursing undergraduates was(61.20±9.63)and(64.09±9.09) in the classroom and clinical practice versions, respectively. There was a significant difference between them(t=2.61,P<0.001).Multivariate linear regression analysis showed that self-evaluation ability of patient safety, patient safety training courses participation, whether making mistakes during practice were the influencing factors of patient safety ability level perceived by undergraduates in classroom and clinical practice which accounted for 13.0% of the total variance. Conclusion The low level of perception of patient safety ability of undergraduates, which needs to be further improved. There is a gap between the students' perception of patients' safety ability in classroom and clinical practice. In the classroom and clinical teaching, nursing educators should pay attention to the cultivation of patient safety knowledge, skills and self-confidence,and focus on students who have made mistakes.

Objective To explore the experience of life reconstruction of older bladder cancer patients with urinary stoma. Methods Ten older patients with urinary stoma were interviewed with semi-structured questions. Colaizzi analysis was used to analyze the data and summarize the themes. Results The experience of older adults with urinary stoma was summarized as five main themes:Negative psychological period(sense of fear, loneliness, and burden);awakening period(change brought by chance);desiring period(life recognition);adaptation period (psychosocial adaptation);stable period(post-traumatic growth). Conclusion The older patients with urinary stoma have serious psychological pressure in the process of life reconstruction. Nurses can explore and provide tailored continuous care according to patients' physiological and mental state and needs in different stages,so as to help patients complete life reconstruction as soon as possible.
