Effects of peer assisted learning on nursing students in targeted education poverty alleviation program

摘要:

目的 探讨同伴互助学习模式在中职护理专业精准教育扶贫学生中的应用效果。方法 以福建卫生职业技术学院80名三年制中职护理专业精准教育扶贫委培班学生为试验组,按照“组间同质、组内异质”的原则,将学生分为14个同伴互助学习小组进行学习,实施周期为一个学期。随机选择同质校中职护理专业80名学生为对照组,比较两组学业水平考试成绩等级,评价试验组在校学习表现。结果 干预后,试验组学习态度得分低于干预前,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);试验组学业水平考试公共基础知识(卷Ⅰ)成绩等级与对照组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);试验组学业水平考试专业基础知识(卷Ⅰ)成绩等级与对照组比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。 结论 同伴互助学习模式有助于提高委培班学生的学习态度,促进其专业基础知识的提高,缩小了与普通中职学业水平考试成绩的差距,但其公共基础能力仍较为薄弱,还需加强公共基础课程的辅导。

Abstract:

Objective To explore the influence of peer-to-peer learning mode on the learning effects of poverty alleviation students in precision education of secondary vocational nursing major. Methods According to the principle of “homogeneity between groups and heterogeneity within groups”,the 80 students in the Fujian Health College were divided into 14 peer-to-peer cooperative learning groups for one semester. Eighty nursing students from the homogenous school were randomly selected as the control group. The academic level test scores of the two groups were compared and the learning performance of the experimental group was evaluated. Results After the intervention,the score of learning attitude in the experimental group was lower than that before the intervention(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the score of public basic knowledge in the academic level test in the experimental group was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the score of professional basic knowledge in the academic level test in the experimental group was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion The peer-to-peer learning model is helpful to improve the learning attitude of the students in the training class,promote the improvement of their professional basic knowledge,and narrow the gap between their academic performance and that of the general secondary vocational school. However,their public basic ability is still relatively weak,so it is necessary to strengthen the assistance of public basic courses.
