Based on the principles of adhering to unifing standards and ensuring equal quality of the full-time and part-time graduate educational programs,this study comprehensively analyzed the current situation and existing problems of the part-time master of nursing(professional degree) educational programs from the number of students recruited,the various elements of the training programs,and the specific teaching arrangements,by integrating the results of questionnaire surveys,text materials and interviews with key informants. The development suggestions included expanding the recruitment scale of students,limiting the admission conditions,specifying the requirements of clinical practice base for clinical specialty rotation,standardizing the duration and content of clinical specialist internships,and ensuring the quality of thesis. Besides,employers were suggested to support the students regarding their study time arrangements for theoretical courses,clinical practicum including cross-unit clinical training,and thesis work,so as to ensure the quality of education.
