Objective To translate and revise the Digital Health Literacy Instrument(DHLI) into Chinese and test its reliability and validity. Methods Literal translation, back translation and cultural adjustment of the DHLI were carried out based on the Brislin translation model. From July 2022 to August 2022, the convenience sampling method was used to investigate 458 respondents with the online survey platform, 25 respondents of them were randomly selected to retest after two weeks, and the data was collected to analyze the reliability and validity. Results The Chinese version of the DHLI had 28 items (21 self-assessment items and 7 performance-based items), and the exploratory factor analysis(EFA) extracted four factors with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 71.630% for self-assessinent items. Confirmatory factor analysis showed a good fitness of the constructed model(χ2/df=2.850, CFI=0.924, IFI=0.924, TLI=0.904, RMSEA=0.088, RMR=0.046). The I-CVI was 0.833~1.00; the S-CVI/UA was 0.964; the S-CVI/Ave was 0.994; the Cronbach’s α coefficient of the total scale was 0.929; the test-retest reliability was 0.828. Conclusion The reliability and validity of the Chinese version of DHLI are satisfactory, and it can serve as a valid assessment instrument for the implementation of digital health services.

With the accelerating pace of updates in medical and nursing knowledge, the knowledge and skills that students need to master are also increasing rapidly. Various online education methods has provided students with diverse and convenient learning resources, but there may also lead to problems such as fragmented knowledge. Knowledge graph can effectively integrate and present knowledge from various fields, providing a more comprehensive and systematic theoretical basis and knowledge support for nursing education. Therefore, this study has undertaken the bronchial asthma chapter in Medical Nursing as an example and constructed a digital teaching model based on a knowledge graph from the aspects of structured teaching content, design of model layer and data layer, knowledge extraction and knowledge storage. This study aims to provide research ideas for solving problems such as fragmented knowledge and provides methodological references for constructing knowledge graphs of medical courses.

The project aimed to strengthen the clinical thinking ability of students and students are required to assess, analyze, and intervene based on the simulation scenario. The project included three modules of learning guidance, virtual training, and evaluation. There were five tasks including “pre-hospital first aid”,“aspiration rescue”,“post-operation pain assessment”,“analgesic monitoring”,and “central venous pressure monitoring”. The project was applied among 291 undergraduates who were going to start their clinical practice. The students logged in the platform to learn the related knowledge autonomously before class. They also practiced repeatedly after class and did the examination by themselves. Finally the training results were analyzed.

    Chinese Journal of Nursing Education    2024, 21 (9): 1035-1040.   DOI: 10.3761/j.issn.1672-9234.2024.09.001
    Abstract1303)   HTML1)    PDF(pc) (1620KB)(13)       Save

Objective To construct a knowledge graph for the Health Assessment Course and investigate students’ usage experiences. Methods The Neo4j graph database was utilized to construct a knowledge graph for the Health Assessment Course. From May to July 2023,the knowledge graph was implemented in the Health Assessment Course for 83 second-year nursing undergraduate students from the Grade 2021 of a medical university who had not used a knowledge graph previously. After the course, students’ practice duration and frequency on knowledge points, overall satisfaction with the knowledge graph platform, and willingness to continue using it for learning were evaluated. Additionally,17 students were purposively sampled for semi-structured interview to collect their feedback. Results The constructed knowledge graph consisted of 199 knowledge points,2 890 nodes, and 2 628 attributes, with 168 types of inclusion relationships,97 types of sequential relationships, and 37 types of correlation relationships established among the nodes. The average learning duration for knowledge points among the 83 students was 0.17(0.17,3.37) hours, with an average practice frequency of 1(1,33) times. The overall satisfaction with the knowledge graph platform was 8.00(7.00,9.00) out of 10,and 99%(82/83) of students expressed willingness to continue using the knowledge graph for learning. Interviews revealed that students believed the application of the knowledge graph for the Health Assessment Course enhanced their learning engagement, alleviated exam anxiety, facilitated clearer learning paths, ensured comprehensive content coverage, and deepened understanding and memory of knowledge. However, there were still some unmet learning needs. Conclusion Positive feedback is got for using the knowledge graph in the Health Assessment Course, which can facilitate the efficient and systematic learning, and ultimately improving their learning effects.
