Abstract:

Objective To develop the pre-job evaluation system based on competency for caregivers in nursing

homes. Methods Preliminary pre-job evaluation system was built up according to the literature review and experts consultations. After two rounds of Delphi expert consultations，the evaluation system was finally completed. Results The response rates

 of the two rounds of expert consultation were 100%，and the authoritative coefficient was 0.95.

The variation coefficients of the first，level index ranged from 0.085 to 0.113 and those for second-level index
ranged from 0.085 to 0.130. The final evaluation system included 5 first-level indicators and 21 second-level indi
cators. Conclusion The evaluation system of pre-job for caregivers in nursing homes has good reliability and va
lidity，and can be used for the pre-job of caregivers in nursing homes.
