Review and prospect of the construction of “double-qualified” nursing teachers

Abstract:

The establishment of “double-qualified” nursing teachers represents a pivotal stride towards accomplishing the goal of training top-tier nursing personnel and advancing the high-quality nursing education. This paper delved into policy documents,elucidated the research and development of “double-qualified” teachers in China in recent years,and meticulously scrutinized the challenges inherent in the identification criteria,degree of importance,and the cultivation mechanism of these educators in the field of nursing. Subsequently,relevant suggestions were put forward to further improve the “double-qualified” nursing teacher’s identification criteria and implementation rules,to fortify the organizational leadership and management,and to strengthen the incentives,training,and assessment and evaluation mechanism research. It is proposed to provide references for the cultivation of high-level applied and compound nursing talents.
