Abstract:

Objective To explore the effects of yoga nidra on sleep disorder and depression of female patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Methods Thirty-eight female patients with SLE who had depression and sleep disorders in a tertiary hospital of Zhengzhou were randomly divided into the experimental group(n=18) and the control group(n=20) by randomized digital table. Patients in the control group received routine nursing care while patients in the experimental group received yoga nidra exercises besides routine care. Results The total scores of Self-Rating Depression Scale and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).
