Objective To explore the effects of WeChat on rehabilitation of patients with ischemic stroke after discharge. Methods A total of 87 patients with ischemic stroke were recruited in the study. Forty-five patients who can receive the intervention through Wechat platform were assigned to the experimental group and other 42 patients were in the control group. The control group was followed up by telephone after discharge. On the basis of telephone follow-up,the experimental group applied the WeChat platform after discharge. Patients were investigated by the Self-efficacy Scale for Chronic and the Modified Barthel Index. Besides, the platform usage was also recorded. Results At 3-month and 6-month,the scores of self-efficacy of chronic disease management and activities of daily living in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. The top three contents patients were interested in were disease-related knowledge, rehabilitation training in convalescence and flaccid paralysis period. The top three contents consulted frequently were rehabilitation training, disease prevention knowledge and risk factors, and emergency coping. Conclusion Rehabilitation after discharge based on WeChat platform improves the self-efficacy and activities of daily living for patients with ischemic stroke.

Objective To explore the effects of emergency equipment training and management system for new nurses based on two-dimensional bar code technology. Methods The scenario simulation video and information of nine kinds of emergency equipment were made. The application pages were generated into QR codes together with electronic check-in and my user function module. A total of 80 new nurses in the first hospital was selected as the experimental group. Two-dimensional bar code system on the basis of traditional training model was used to train the nurses in the experimental group. Another 77 new nurses in the second hospital were trained by the traditional training model. The training effects and nurses’ satisfaction were evaluated through questionnaire survey. Results The scores regarding knowledge, equipment operation, and problem solving in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). The number of adverse events related to equipment in the experimental group within 6 months was 2,while it was 9 in the control group. The number of maintenance of the equipment in the experimental group was 8,while it was 21 in the control group. The maintenance cost in the experimental group was 50,000 RMB,and it was 130,000 RMB in the control group. Nurses in the experimental group had higher satisfaction rate toward training. Conclusion The training and management system based on two-dimensional bar code helps to improve the operational skills of the new nurses on the emergency equipment, reduces the number of operation failures, decreases the maintenance cost, and reduces the adverse events. It can ensure safety and nursing quality, and nurses has high satisfaction rate towards it.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University applied OSCE to evaluate the clinical ability of nurses in 2017. This paper introduces the design of OSCE from objectives, case selection, station setup and standardized patient use. Taking the application of OSCE assessment of 72 nursing skill contestants in 2017 and 2018 as an example, the implementation methods and effects of OSCE were described. By rationally designing OSCE and applying it to the evaluation of nurses’ clinical ability,it can not only evaluate nurses’ abilities comprehensively, objectively, and flexibly but also can help nursing managers and educators realize the shortcomings in the current training process of nurses. This will definitely drive changes in the training methods of clinical nurses and improve the clinical working abilities of nurses.

Objective To explore the effects of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS) in patients during the perioperative period of pituitary tumor resection by transsphenoidal approach. Methods A total of 103 patients who were admitted from April 2014 to November 2016 were assigned to the control group. Another 105 patients admitted from December 2016 to August 2018 were assigned to the experimental group. Patients in the control group received routine care during perioperative period, while patients in the experimental group received ERAS. The outcomes compared between the two groups included the first time that patients are out of bed, length of stay in hospital, cost, anxiety, pain 48 hours after operation, and complications. Results The first time that patients were out of bed for activity in experimental group was earlier than that of the control group. The length of study in hospital and cost in the experimental group were less than that of the control group. The anxiety level in the experimental group was lower than that of the control group. The number of pain cases and complications in the experimental group were less than that of control group. All difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion It is safe and effective to apply ERAS in patients undergoing pituitary adenoma resection by transsphenoidal approach. It can effectively alleviate the pain and anxiety level of the patients 48 hours after operation, make patients get out of bed early, reduce length of stay in hospital, total cost and the occurrence of postoperative complications, and promote the early recovery of the patients.

Objective To investigate the status of perceived error aversion culture and voice behavior of nurses, and to explore the correlation between them. Methods From March to July 2018,the convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 327 clinical nurses in a tertiary hospital in Zhengzhou City using the Error Aversion Culture Scale and Voice Behavior Scale. Results The mean score of error aversion culture was(2.81±0.63),and the mean score of voice behavior was(3.84 ±0.67). Educational background, years of work and error aversion culture were the influencing factors of nurses’ voice behavior(P<0.05).Conclusion The lower the perception of nurses’ error aversion culture, the more prominent the voice behavior. Nursing managers should deal with clinical errors reasonably and reduce nurses’ perception of error aversion cultural,so as to stimulate nurses’ enthusiasm to make suggestions.
