Investigation and research on the current situation and related factors of the transfer of traditional Chinese medicine specialty nurse training

Abstract:

Objective To investigate and analyze the current situation of job competency in the transfer process of training for traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) specialty nurses in China,and provide reference for further carrying out qualification certification training and job management for TCM specialty nurses. Methods A self-made survey questionnaire was used to conduct a survey among nurses who obtained the training certificate for TCM specialty nurses in Guangdong Province. Results A total of 401 TCM specialty nurses in China were surve-yed. The training transfer of TCM specialty nurses was related to personal characteristics(job competence,welfare and benefits,self-efficacy,training transfer motivation),organizational management(organizational support,working conditions),training system(practical gains,training guidance). Multiple response analysis showed that the lack of TCM nursing human resources,lack of organizational and policy support,lack of TCM nursing technical charging standards,and lack of supporting facilities and equipment were the obstacles to the development of TCM nursing work. Conclusion The training transfer for TCM specialty nurses is related to various factors. Currently,there is a lack of a scientific and effective management system of training transfer for TCM speciality nurses,and problems such as unclear job appointments,welfare benefits,and career development channels exist. At the management level of departments,hospitals,and government departments,attention should be paid to the degree and stage of training transfer for TCM specialty nurses,and management strategies should be improved to promote the occurrence of training transfer behavior and enhance the effectiveness of training transfer,and promote the professional development of nurses.
