Abstract:

Objective To explore preliminary application effect of online peer assessment tool for nursing practical training. Methods Guided by the connotation framework of value-added evaluation,we designed and developed an online peer evaluation tool for nursing practice training, and preliminarily applied it to the experimental teaching of nursing undergraduates. A total of 82 students were selected through convenience sampling to understand the user experience and effectiveness of the tool, and suggestions for its use were proposed by both students and teachers. Results Among the 82 students surveyed,75 expressed “high satisfaction” with the tool, while seven reported being “satisfied”. Students acknowledged the tool’s clear interface and user-friendly design. Teachers suggested integrating automatic evaluator analysis, developing a class capability gap radar chart, and linking identified weaknesses to instructional videos to further enhance functionality. Conclusion The online peer assessment tool for nursing training has feasibility in value-added evaluation, which can systematically collect process data, help teachers objectively track students’ skill development trajectory, and provide a basis for personalized practice guidance.
