Construction and management of clinical teaching bases under the context of nursing professional accreditation

Abstract:

Nursing major accreditation serves as a core mechanism for promoting the reform of nursing education and improving teaching quality. Clinical teaching bases constitute a crucial component of the content covered by nursing program accreditation. This article shares the experience of Renji Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. These reforms focused on aspects such as optimizing the organizational structure,integrating and adapting clinical teaching resources,developing the teaching staff,and innovating clinical teaching and its management. These initiatives contributed to the successful accreditation of the nursing program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2024. It aims to provide references for the construction and management of clinical teaching bases as well as the improvement of clinical teaching quality in the context of nursing major accreditation.
