Abstract: According to the 11th five-year plan，the 12th five-year plan and the 13th five-year plan of the outline program for development of Chinese nursing，the emergency specialty nurse training in Shanghai was conducted from 2006 to 2019. The training plan，methods，and assessment were constantly adjusted during this period. More than 2 700 specialty nurses in emergency were trained，which met the needs of the development of emergency nursing in different stages. This paper summarized the characteristics of three stages of specialty nurse training from four aspects：basis，training plan，training materials and effect evaluation.
