Abstract: Objective To investigate the level and influencing factors of academic emotion among undergraduate nursing students. Methods Totally 258 undergraduate nursing students were investigated using the General Aca demic Emotion Questionnaire（GAEQ）. Results The scores of boredom，hopelessness and anger among undergraduate nursing students were significantly higher than those of general college students（P<0.01），while the scores of relief，pride，shame，enjoyment，hope and interest were significantly lower than those of general college students（P<0.01）. Multiple regression analysis showed that recruitment level，academic performance and grade were influencing factors of academic emotion（P<0.01）. Conclusion Undergraduate nursing students show lower level of positive academic emotion while higher level of negative academic emotion.The recruitment level，academic performance and grade are significant factors which influence undergraduate nursing students’ academic emotion.
