The establishment of graduation practice situation simulation program for undergraduate nursing students based on the transition shock model

Abstract: Objective To develop a graduation practice situation simulation program for undergraduate nursing students based on the transition shock model. Methods Two rounds of expert consultation was conducted among 40 experts using Delphi technique. Results The returning rates of questionnaires in the first and second round expert consultation were 90.91% and 92.50% , respectively. The authority coefficient of the experts was 0.88,and the coordination coefficient of experts‘ opinion was 0.31. The program included 16 learning target,57 compiling indicators,16 time arrangement and 6 kinds of evaluation. Conclusion The result of the study is reliable and the program can provide reference for the development of strategies to promote new nurses’ role transition, and also provide basis for the implementation and evaluation of simulation teaching.
