Introduction and implication of interprofessional pain management curriculum at abroad

Abstract:

Interdisciplinary pain management skills play an important role in medical education,especially for nursing students in clinical practice. Currently,the application of interprofessional pain management curriculum medical education in China is not sufficient. This paper reviewed the Interprofessional Pain Curriculum Content Outline(IPCCO) developed by International Association for the Study of Pain(IASP),and the experience of the University of Toronto in Canada and Duquesne University. The aim is to provide references and insights for the incorporation of interprofessional pain management curriculum for nursing education in China.
