Construction and effective analysis of the Nursing Theory courses for postgraduates in nursing

Abstract:

Graduate education is an important component of the higher education system. As one of the core contents of graduate education,the construction and management of high-quality courses is of great significance for cultivating high-level professional talents. Nursing Theory is one compulsory course for postgraduates,which lays a solid foundation for their research,practice,education,and management in nursing. Furthermore,it serves as a vital pillar for cultivating their professional values. This article presented the experiences of the Shandong Second Medical University in the construction of Nursing Theory courses for postgraduates in nursing,which focusing on six key aspects:clarifying course objectives,optimizing course content,integrating “course” with “ideological and political education”,developing online teaching resources,flexibly employing diverse teaching methodologies in offline settings,and refining course evaluation and assessment methods. Additionally,the article reported the achievements of these efforts,aiming to provide valuable insights and serve as a reference for the development of Nursing Theory and similar courses in Nursing Research.
