Abstract: Higher requirements for basic quality and professional ability are proposed for nurses due to the “Health China Strategy”，reform of public hospitals，and the various demands people have. Training of new nurses is an import part of the continuing education system. It is also the effective way to help new nurses cultivate core competency，adapt to new working environments，and complete the role transition. The Henan Provincial People Hospital set up a series of systems for new nurses including training management system，rules and regulations devel-opment system，training guarantee system，rules management system，teacher management system，and quality control system. All these systems were put into practice. References are provided for construction and implementation of training model of new nurses for other hospitals.
