Abstract: Objective To develop a scientific and practical management index system for specialty nurses in wound and ostomy，so as to provide reference for the selection，training，appointment and assessment of the nurses.Methods Through extensive review of domestic and foreign literature and semistructured interviews，a preliminary draft for the index system of specialty nurses in wound and ostomy was developed. Two rounds Delphi method were used to consult the experts from nursing management，wound ostomy nursing，nursing education field. Results The positive coefficient of two round expert consultation was 100% . The authoritative coefficient of experts was 0.93. The variation coefficients of each index ranged from 0 to 0.176. The index system of position management for specialty nurse in wound and ostomy included 6 first-level indexes （position description，position setting，position training，position recruitment，position assessment，position salary），20 second-level indexes and 59 third-level indexes.Conclusion The reliability and practicability of the index system of position management for specialty nurses in wound ostomy are acceptable. It can provide reference for hospitals to manage positions for specialty nurses.
