Practice of topic situational teaching in Midwifery Courses

Abstract:

This paper introduced the innovation and practice of the topic situational teaching in midwifery course. Three contents including the reconstruction of midwifery knowledge structure, the construction of situational teaching resources, and the construction of a “knowledge-scenario-problem” chain teaching path based on “topic situational teaching” thinking framework were introduced. After years of teaching reform, the course has been approved as a first-class offline undergraduate course in Guangxi, and won the second prize in the teaching innovation competition for university teachers at the district level. We aimed to provide reference for the construction of midwifery courses and the improvement of clinical thinking abilities of students majoring in midwifery.
