Abstract:

Objective To explore the application effect of 3D printing model in spinal surgery clinical nursing teaching. Methods In this study, convenience sampling method was adopted and 110 nursing interns who were admitted to the department of spine surgery in a tertiary first-class hospital from July 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the control group, and conventional clinical teaching methods were carried out. Another 129 nursing interns who entered the department from July 2020 to April 2021 were selected as the experimental group, and the 3D printing model was used in conjunction with conventional clinical teaching methods. Theoretical knowledge assessment, objective structure clinical examination result, performance of ward rounds in nursing teaching, and satisfaction with teaching survey were used to evaluate the training effect. Results The scores of theoretical knowledge assessment, objective structure clinical examination result, nursing ward rounds, and satisfaction with teaching in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The application of 3D printing spine model in the spinal surgery clinical nursing teaching improved the teaching effect and promoted students’ satisfaction with teaching.
