Abstract: Department of critical care medicine of Zhongshan Hospital began to build up the respiratory therapists team in 2015. We have accumulated some experiences in terms of the selection of respiratory therapists，training of respiratory therapists，evaluation of respiratory therapists，and clinical work model for respiratory therapists.We have also formed a preliminary organizational structure and regulation.
