Abstract: Well-organized curriculum system is the fundamental of cultivation of nursing students with high core competency. Guilin Medical University reformed the nursing curriculum system by referring to the advanced nursing education concepts as well as considering the current teaching status of its own. The new curriculum system could cultivate the students with high quality by the following measures：optimizing the curriculum system through content integration and humanities strengthening；combining theory with practice and conducting scientific research and combing group learning and individual teaching.
