Abstract:  In order to cultivate nursing students’ practical competence，innovation ability and comprehensive clinical thinking，an experimental teaching center was constructed as the core of training high-quality practical nursing talents. The measures included changing the philosophy of experimental teaching，increasing funds on experimental teaching，innovating the experimental teaching mode，improving management system and strengthening team building of experimental personnel. After two years of practice，the experimental teaching center has achieved preliminary effects in teaching，research and social services.
