The online blended teaching model for training in new nurses

Abstract:

Objective To explore the effects of online blended teaching model for training in new nurses. Methods A total of 302 new nurses recruited in 2019 from the second affiliated hospital of Nanchang university were assigned to the experimental group and received online blended teaching model. Another 270 new nurses recruited in 2018 were assigned to the control group and received the traditional training. After the training,the theoretical score,skills score,nursing staff autonomous learning ability and adult learning satisfaction level were assessed. Results The scores of theory examination,skill examination,independent learning ability and learning satisfaction of the new nurses in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The online blended teaching model for skill training is worth to be promoted among new nurses.
