Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effect of osteoporosis club on patients‘ disease-related related knowledge and self-efficacy. Methods Ninety-six patients with osteoporosis received health education in the form of osteoporosis club for six-months. The patients were investigated using Osteoporosis Knowledge Tests（OKT） and Osteoporosis Self-Efficacy Scale（OSES） before and after intervention. Results After the intervention，the total knowledge score and fa ctor scores of risk factors，sports，calcium，as well as the total score of self-efficacy and factor score of calcium intake were significantly higher than baseline（P<0.05）. Conclusion Osteoporosis club can effectively improve patients’ disease-related knowledge and self-efficacy，which plays an active role in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
