Abstract:

Objective To develop a hierarchical training program for disaster nursing for nurses in tertiary hospitals in China. Methods Based on the framework of disaster nursing capacity of International Nurses Association,a hierarchical training program for clinical nurses in tertiary hospitals was developed after literature research. Experts in disaster nursing fields were invited for two rounds of Delphi expert consultation. Results A total of 15 experts participated in two rounds of expert consultation, with questionnaire response rate of 100%. The expert authority coefficient was 0.83,and the Kendall coordination coefficients for two rounds of expert opinions were 0.254 and 0.259(both P<0.001),respectively. The final hierarchical training plan for clinical nurses in tertiary hospitals in disaster nursing included two levels:basic disaster nursing ability training and professional disaster nursing ability training, which consisted of target group for training, training objectives, training content, training arrangements, training faculty, and evaluation. Conclusion The training plan constructed in this study is scientific and reliable, and can provide reference for the establishment, hierarchical training, management, and assessment of emergency nursing and rescue teams in tertiary hospitals.
