Abstract:

Objective To investigate the effects of group prenatal care combined with pregnant women school on health education of high-aged primiparous women. Methods A total of 120 high-aged primiparous women who were first registered in the obstetrics clinic of our hospital from January to November 2019 were randomly divided into the experimental group（n=60）and the control group（n=60）. Women in the experimental group received a new model of group prenatal care with pregnant women school,while women in the control group received the traditional prenatal care. The pregnancy pressure,delivery self-efficacy and delivery rate between the two groups were compared after 6 months of interventions. Results The pregnancy pressure in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group（P<0.05）.The self-efficacy and natural birth rate were higher than those of the control group（P<0.05）. Conclusion The group prenatal care combined with pregnant women school for high-aged primi-parous women can reduce the pressure of pregnancy,improve the self-efficacy of delivery and the rate of delivery.
