Design and application of online learning for nurses

Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of online learning on examination performance of nurses. Methods A total of 15 nurses from the surgical ward of a tertiary hospital were selected. The online learning based on the “Rain Classroom” was used. Nurses’ examination performance as well as their satisfaction with the learning method were all evaluated. Results The learning completion rate was 100% . The rate of discussion participation was 100%. The completion rate of the homework was 100%. The rate of satisfaction is 93%. Conclusion The effects of online learning based on “Rain Classroom” is good and it is well accepted by nurses. The online learning is not restricted by space and time. It is worth to be promoted among nurses.
