Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of online learning and cross-registration credit. Methods Firstly，a teaching team was formed，and the teaching objectives，plans，and evaluation method were all developed. A total of 107 nursing undergraduates were selected. Those students can choose online cross-registration credit courses in surgical nursing. The students were assessed by the combination of formative evaluation and summative evaluation.Results The score of formative evaluation was （26.87±1.23）. The score of summative evaluation was （51.11 ±6.92）. The pass rate was 98.13%. Conclusion The online cross-registration credit project can promote the sharing of high-quality teaching resources between different universities，promotes the academic exchange and cooperation among teachers.
