Abstract:

Objective To investigate the current situation of reflective practice among clinical nurses and explore its influencing factors,in order to provide reference for improving reflective practice for clinical nurses. Methods A total of 874 nurses in Guangdong and Hunan Province were surveyed using a general information survey questionnaire, the Sieloff-King Assessment of Work Team/Group Empowerment with Organization, the Chinese version of Evidence-based Nursing Implementation Climate Scale, the Workplace Spirituality Scale, and the Chinese version of Reflective Practice Questionnaire. Results The total score of reflective practice among clinical nurses in this group was(168.19±23.70) points. The results of linear regression analysis showed that group empowerment for nursing,evidence-based nursing implementation climate, workplace spirituality, and marriage(referring to unmarried individuals) were the main influencing factors of reflective practice among clinical nurses, accounting for 56.5% of the total variance. Conclusion The reflective practice of clinical nurses is at a high level, and nursing managers can take measures to improve and maintain the level of reflective practice of clinical nurses based on relevant influencing factors.
