Improving evidence-based thinking for nursing students

Abstract:

This paper analyzed concept of evidence-based thinking,introduced evidence-based thinking map,and addressed the significance of improving evidence-based thinking for nursing students. Strategies and approaches to improve evidence-based thinking were addressed,which include integrating evidence-based thinking in nursing curriculum,organizing journal club,conducting case analysis and ward round driven by evidence-based thinking,and developing evidence implementation project based on clinical problems. It is emphasized that evidence-based thinking is the key to improve scientific literacy of nursing profession.
