Construction of curriculum system of death education for nurses in emergency department based on Bloom’s goal teaching theory

Abstract:

Objective To constant a death education content suitable for emergency department nurses based on Bloom’s goal teaching theory. Methods Based on Bloom’s goal teaching theory,the original training content was determined through literature review,semi-structured interviews,and expert group meetings,and 18 clinical nursing experts from 11 provinces and cities were invited to modify the content to determine the final version of death education training for emergency nurses content. Results The recovery rate of round 2 questionnaires was 100%,and the expert authority coefficient were both 0.868. The mean importance score of all levels of indicators is 4.50~5.00. Eventually,a death education course content for nurses in emergency department is formed,which includes 3 first-level indicators,5 second-level indicators and 23 third-level indicators. Conclusion The course content of death education for nurses in emergency department based on Bloom’s goal teaching theory is scientific,practical and operable,which has certain reference value for the death education and training of nurses in emergency department.
