Evidence summary of prevention and management of venous thrombosis in patients with ischemic stroke

Abstract:

Objective To summarize and evaluate the evidence for the prevention and management of venous thromboembolism in patients with ischemic stroke. Methods We searched evidence in UpToDate,BMJ best practice,the Cochrane,Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network,China Biology Medicine disc,and Wanfang database from inception to December 5,2019. The quality assessment was conducted by two researchers using AGREEⅡ and JBI evidence-based health care center(2016) evaluate standards for systematic review. Results A total of 18 articles were included in this study,including 15 guidelines,2 systematic reviews and 1 evidence summary. Thirty pieces of the best evidence were extracted,including the risk assessment of venous thrombosis in patients with ischemic stroke,intermittent pneumatic compression prevention,anticoagulant prevention and other preventive and treatment measures. Conclusion This study summarized the evidence of the vein thrombosis prevention and management of patients with ischemic stroke and it can provide reference for clinical practice. In order to promote nursing quality,clinical environment and other related factors should be assessed before application due to the evidence from various countries.
