护理本科实习生自我效能和职业认同在转型冲击与职业决策困难间的链式中介效应

Chain-mediating effects of self-efficacy and professional identity between transition shock and career decision-making difficulties in undergraduate nursing interns

摘要:

目的 探讨护理本科实习生自我效能和职业认同在转型冲击与职业决策困难间的中介作用。方法 2022年12月—2023年3月采用方便抽样法,采用护理本科实习生转型冲击评价量表、一般自我效能感量表、护生职业认同问卷、职业决策困难问卷对来自北京市、山东省、河南省13所高校的365名护理本科实习生进行问卷调查。结果 护理本科实习生的职业决策困难得分为(37.85±9.37)分。自我效能、职业认同在转型冲击与职业决策困难之间起中介作用,包括自我效能的独立中介效应(效应值0.145)、职业认同的独立中介效应(效应值0.171)、自我效能—职业认同的链式中介效应(效应值0.048)。结论 护理本科实习生转型冲击通过自我效能和职业认同间接对职业决策困难发挥作用。护理教育者可通过降低护理本科实习生的转型冲击,提高其自我效能和职业认同,从而减轻实习生的职业决策困难。

Abstract:

Objective To examine the mediating effects of self-efficacy and professional identity between transition shock and career decision-making difficulties among undergraduate nursing interns. Methods From December 2022 to March 2023,a total of 365 nursing undergraduate interns from 13 universities in Beijing,Shandong Province and Henan Province were selected by convenient sampling and investigated with the Transition Shock Scale for Undergraduate Nursing Students,General Self-efficacy Scale,Professional Identity Questionnaire for Nurse Students,and Career Decision-making Difficulties Questionnaire. Results The mean score of career decision-making difficulties was 37.85±9.37. Our study revealed that self-efficacy and professional identity played a mediating role between transition shock and career decision-making difficulties,including the independent mediating effect of self-efficacy(effect size=0.145),the independent mediating effect of professional identity(effect size=0.171),and the chain mediating effect of self-efficacy and professional identity(effect size=0.048). Conclusion The transition shock of undergraduate nursing interns indirectly affects career decision-making difficulties through self-efficacy and career identity. Nursing educators should reduce graduate nursing interns’ transition shock and improve their self-efficacy and professional identity,so as to reduce career decision-making difficulties in undergraduate nursing interns.
