Objective To explore the effects of APP-assisted teaching in the course of Pediatric Nursing in higher vocational college.Methods Totally 256 nursing students of grade 2016 were selected and assigned to the experimental group,and the APP-assisted teaching was carried out on the platform of Lanmo cloud class. Students could preview and review the contents. Their participation could also be recorded. Another 278 nursing students of grade 2015 were selected as the control group and traditional teaching method was used. The teaching effects were evaluated by calculating participation rate in the experimental group and examination performance in the two groups.Results The participation rate of experimental group was 100%. The examination performances of nursing students in the experimental group were better than those in the control group（P<0.05）.Conclusion APP-assisted teaching in the course of Pediatric Nursing can significantly improve the participation of students,improve the examination performance,and ensure the teaching effects.
