The correlation between positive psychological quality and the quality of life among oral cancer patients
Objective To identify the relationship between positive psychological quality and the quality of life among oral cancer patients. Methods A total of 230 oral cancer patients meeting the inclusion criteria was recruited. General situation questionnaire,Resilience Scale,Hearth Hope Scale,Revised Life Orientation Test,Perceived Social Support Scale and the Quality of Life Scale were used to investigate the participants’ positive psychological quality and the level of life quality. Pearson correlation was used to test the relationship. Results The score quality of life was （93.70±21.39）. The relationships between resilience level（r=0.570,P<0.01）,the hope level（r=0.688,P<0.01）,life orientation level（r=0.511,P<0.01）,perceived social support level（r=0.557,P<0.01） and quality of life were positive. Conclusion The positive psychological quality can improve the quality of life among oral cancer patients. More psychological interventions are needed to improve the quality of life of oral cancer patients.
