Objective To investigate the students satisfaction and attitudes towards different training modes of ICU master program. Methods Different training modes were used in Grade 2011 and Grade 2012. Fifteen master students were investigated with a self-designed questionnaire about their satisfaction and attitudes towards different training modes. Results The students’ satisfaction in Grade 2011 was 62.5%. All students supported the new training mode. The most unsatisfied items were lack of self-directed learning time（46.7%），stress from graduation thesis（13.3%） and clinical teachers’ educational skills（13.3%）. Conclusion The new training mode of ICU master program is accepted by the students. It is suggested to ensure enough time for clinical practice，attach great importance both to practice and research，and strengthen the training of clinical teachers.
