Abstract

Objective To identify the incidence and influencing factors of cancer-related cognitive impairment by systematic review. Methods Databases were searched for all literatures on the influencing factors of cancer-related cognitive impairment from the establishment of the database to December 2024 including PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,SinoMed,CNKI,Wanfang Database and VIP. After that, two evaluators independently screened the literature according to the criteria, extracted the data, and evaluated the quality of the literature. Meta-analysis was performed using Stata 16 software. Results A total of 20 articles were included. The results of meta-analysis showed that the incidence of cancer-related cognitive impairment was 31%. In addition, age, education, sleep, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, diabetes, depression and anxiety were the influencing factors of cancer-related cognitive impairment. Conclusion The incidence of cancer-related cognitive impairment is high, and its occurrence is affected by social demographic character, lifestyle, clinical factors and psychological factors. Medical staff should identify high-risk groups of cancer-related cognitive impairment early, and reduce the occurrence of cancer-related cognitive impairment and cancer by formulating and implementing targeted intervention measures.
