Construction and exploration of the talent cultivation model for the interdisciplinary double bachelor degree program in Nursing and Management
The interdisciplinary integration of academic fields has become one key feature of China’s drive for scientific self-reliance and rapid development. In response to the national strategy of cultivating interdisciplinary top-tier innovative medical talents,Sichuan University has established an innovative double bachelor degree program in Nursing and Management,leveraging its two doctoral programs in these fields. Adhering to the principles of “high starting point,high standards,and high quality”, this program has developed an interdisciplinary and comprehensive nursing management talent cultivation system. It aims to cultivate high-caliber nursing management talents with solid humanistic foundations,exceptional professional ethics,proficient nursing skills,strong management capabilities,a keen sense of innovation,and a broad international perspective. Comprehensive objectives of the program included the holistic development of students in moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic,and labor aspects. Through the construction of an interdisciplinary faculty team,the creation of an integrated curriculum system,the development of double degree innovative teaching materials,and the establishment of an integrated practical teaching system,the program seeks to cultivate advanced nursing management talents urgently needed by the country and society. These efforts also aim to promote the high-quality development of nursing disciplines and create new productivity in nursing for the new era. This innovative initiative has not only enriched the academic content of nursing and management but also provided a reference model for advancing the reform of higher nursing education and the development of national health services in China.
