Research progress on help-seeking behaviour for cancer symptoms

Abstract

The prevention and treatment of cancer is a public health problem in China and even the world and help-seeking behaviour for cancer symptoms plays an important role in the early detection and diagnosis of cancer. In order to provide a reference for understanding the help-seeking behaviour and effective intervention strategies,this paper reviewed the concept and attributes,related theoretical models,specific process,influencing factors and intervention programs of help-seeking behaviour for cancer symptoms. The paper aims to provide reference for understanding the symptomatic help-seeking behavior of cancer,improving the early diagnosis rate of cancer and improving the quality of life.
