Abstract

Objective To summarize the relevant evidence of prevention and nursing on mucocutaneous separation in patients with enterostomy,in order to provide evidence-based basis of mucocutaneous separation for clinical nursing practice. Methods Based on the PIPOST model, relevant expert consensus, guidelines, systematic review, and summary of evidence, etc. were retrieved in UpToDate,Cochrane Library,JBI,PubMed,CNKI,WCET and WOCN,etc. The retrieval time limit was set from establishment of the databases to November,2022. Through systematic literature search, screening, literature evaluation, and evidence integration,a summary of evidence on the prevention and care of skin and mucous membrane separation in patients with enterostomy has been formed. Results A total of ten literatures were included, including four guidelines, three consensuses, two systematic reviews, one evidence summary,18 pieces of relevant evidence were identified, including assessment, colostomy site marking, mucocutaneous separation nursing and health education. Conclusion This study summarized the evidence for the prevention and care of stomal mucocutaneous separation, and provided standardized management and improve nursing quality for clinical medical staffs to prevent and treat the complication of mucocutaneous separation after surgery.
