Research progress in the chronic pain of patients transferred from the ICU

Abstract

Chronic pain is common in ICU transfer patients,but due to its complex causes,chronic pain is still constantly being exploring. This paper reviews the research progress of ICU transfer patients related chronic pain (Chronic ICU-related Pain,CIRP),including chronic pain concept,occurrence status,relevant influencing factors,and intervention status,with the aim of helping medical staffs better understand the chronic pain problem,and providing reference to explore effective interventions,so as to reduce the occurrence of patients’ CIRP and improve their quality of life.
