Teaching design and practice of Ideological and Political Theory Education in Comprehensive Training Course for undergraduate midwifery major
In the context of the new era, the cultivation of midwifery professionals not only requires strengthening the learning of professional skills, but also comprehensively improving the ideological and political literacy of students. In order to implement the spirit of the Ministry of Education on the construction of Ideological and Political Theory Education in university courses, our school has carried out a comprehensive practical training course for midwifery major based on the actual situations, and integrated the design and practice of Ideological and Political Theory Education into the course. To establish their professional beliefs in midwifery, strengthen their responsibility of midwifery nursing, appreciate their value of life, and cultivate the quality of humanistic care, Ideological and political elements have been organically integrated in the stages of internships, practical training, virtual simulation experiments, etc. This article briefly introduces the entry points and method of integrating Ideological and Political Theory Education into the Comprehensive Training Course of undergraduate midwifery major, and provides reference for further developing ideological and political reform teaching activities in other related courses in the future.
