The status and enlightment of nursing English teaching research in China
The research retrieved the articles on nursing English teaching in recent 10 years in China. 187 articles were recruited which mainly involved the nursing English teaching in university education and in the nursing continuous education in hospitals, covered topics such as needs analysis, learning analytics, teaching methodology, teaching practice, teaching reform, clinical training and clinical application etc. The researchers suggested that the future nursing English teaching reform in universities should be based on the real clinical demand of nursing services, and hospitals should improve nurses’ clinical English proficiency in accordance with global health care standards for language competence, in order to cultivate nursing talents with global vision and international competitiveness.
